Fun ways to change your ways of exercise along with giving you the information which might interest and motivate you. Exercise can refresh your mind and change your body and I am here to make it easier and suitable to you.

Let's face the facts you either LOVE cardio or you cant stand it, but trust me give it a chance. Lately I've been getting into a lot more cardio (which is something I'd NEVER thought i would enjoy.) I never really liked running as a kid, you know when the teacher told us we are doing 100m sprints I would hide. But this year I've really surprised myself and I have found the motivation to do jogging or (my personal favourite) cycling.

Benefits of cardio

Cardio has many benefits and if you want further explanation in another post, please let me know:

  1. Strengthens your heart and improves the blood to be pumped around your body, therefore your muscles get more oxygen for energy.

  2. Lowers blood pressure and manages your cholesterol levels.

  3. Regulates blood sugar.

  4. Improves sleep.

  5. Loses weight and if you do cardio regularly, then the weight you lose won't come back!

  6. Boosts immune system.

  7. Boosts mood and confidence.

Not just running...

Brisk walking for 30 minutes can burn up to 180 calories

Running for 30 minutes can burn up to 300 calories

Cycling for 30 minutes can more than 250 calories

Rowing for 30 minutes burns up to 300 calories

Finally, Swimming for 30 minutes can burn up to 400 calories

Thank you!

Thanks for reading and i hope this was useful. I know cardio isn't everyone's favourite but its worth a try and an experiment for which you prefer. I will be posting more exercises with information for you (such as calories burned, times, muscles etc) so stick around! Follow my social media for updates on the blogs and a newsletter will be sent out to those who have a subscription. If you have any requests, questions or would like to learn anything then please contact me and your wish is my command! See you soon...
